2023 marks Wesanco's 50th year in business! Wesanco has grown exponentially because of it’s employees dedication to making quality products and going above and beyond with exceptional customer service. 50 years ago, Wesley E. Shyer founded Wesanco – which stands for “Wes and Company” – in 1973 shortly following the expiration of the Unistrut patents. Wesanco is headquartered in La Mirada, California, and is a leading manufacturer of continuous-slot metal framing channel, aka “strut channel,” fittings, pipe clamps, and companion accessories. Wesley’s son, Andy Shyer, took over as President of Wesanco in 1991 after his father’s passing. Andy played an instrumental role in brokering the sale of Wesanco to ZSi-Foster on October 30, 2015. Wesanco is now a part of the Ideal Tridon Group family of brands, alongside ZSi-Foster, Hydra-Zorb, and many others.

Manufacturing capability includes roll forming, welding, curving, cutting, and punching of both mild and stainless steels.
